Hi, I’m Petar and would like to welcome you to my Internet home – Slice of Fit.
I am originally from a small seaside town in Bulgaria called – Burgas. I’ve done most of my growing up there until I graduated the German High School in the city. After that, it was time to pursue something greater. I knew I needed a challenge and a way to push myself to the limit, so I’ve made the decision that I’m going to go abroad.
I have an amazing family and great friends. They enrich my life so much and make it so much easier than it actually is. But, it was time for me to grow up. I had to prove to myself that I can face the challenge of being on my own, in a completely separate country so that’s what I’ve done. I’ve decided to commit and study in the UK for 4 years. I’ve chosen Bournemouth as my University because it’s a great institution but mainly because the town resembled Burgas so much and I would therefore not feel as lonely or at least, that’s what I thought.
So currently, I’m studying in Bournemouth University and am in my 3rd year of my course and working at BMW UK. Cars are my passion, I absolutely love cars and have done since I was 2-3 years old when my dad gave me my first Christmas present(or at least, the first that I can remember – a red BMW Z3 Roadster.) It’s amazing to be working for a company you’ve always dreamed about!
But my other big passion is health and fitness. I’ve always enjoyed sports and used to train and compete in football, swimming and kickboxing throughout my childhood and teenage years. At the age of 15, I decide it’s time to pick it up a notch and started going to the gym daily. It was my therapy and I loved the feeling of pain and pride and how close they are interlinked together.
Everyone who does sports and goes to the gym knows that going to the gym is only one part of the equation for success. You need to make sure your nutrition is spot on, otherwise, your efforts in the gym are wasted. I’ve decided to start cooking my own meals, adding a little bit of a healthy twist to them and making sure they are very nutritious, simple and delicious as well. I’ve been doing this since I was about 15-16 years old and here I am today at 21 living on my own, cooking my own food and pushing myself to new limits.
Everyone thinks that eating healthy has to be boring but I’m here to prove that’s not true. That’s why I’ve decided to share my hobby and passion with you and hopefully, show you that it doesn’t have to be. With a pinch of dedication, imagination and creativity, you can make incredibly delicious and nutritious meals which are easy to prepare and please the taste-buds and the body-buds.
I’ve decided it’s time to share that hobby of mine with the world. Welcome to Slice of Fit! Any feedback is appreciated – positive or negative. I’m trying to get better every day but if you have a suggestion on what I’m doing wrong or how it can be better, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you can get the most out of my site!
