Today we’re making an amazing dessert. Quick, easy and healthy. You’re going to need a few raw and fully natural ingredients. These turned out delicious and have got loads of protein and complex carbs to support you on your journey towards gaining muscle and losing fat.
Most people do not connect chocolate to health and believe that all chocolate is bad for you. Today I’m gonna show that this is not the case. These bars are a great alternative to store-bought bars which have a lot of processed ingredients, including a lot of refined white sugar which is a killer of everything healthy.
That’s why we’re not using sugar, we’re getting the sweet factor from some honey – a healthy and natural raw ingredient which does miracles for your overall health and is a great supplement to a healthy body/diet.
To make it crunchy we’re going to use some oats and to make everything stick together and into a nice batter – we’re going to use 1 egg and 5-6 egg whites. This adds extra few grams of vital micronutrients that are good for you and a lot more protein. We also add some crushed walnuts which you could substitute for almonds.
Anyways, enough talking, let’s start cooking because the sooner we start cooking, the sooner we’ll start eating.
Easy and Healthy Chocolate Protein Bars
A great and easy recipe for the delicious Bar-style healthy chocolate protein bars!
- 250g oats
- 3 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 1 banana
- 50g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 whole egg
- 5-6 egg whites
- 2 tbsp. baking cocoa
- 1.5 tbsp. peanut butter
- 50g crushed walnust
